ID Label Sponsors Special Education 5K
Making Strides for Special Kids
ID Label once again proudly sponsored the “Making Strides for Special Kids” 5K run/walk supporting special needs families in Lake County, Illinois.
“The Special Education District of Lake County does great work,” said Neil Johnston, ID Label’s CEO and president. “Their annual 5K is a great event to help raise funds for a variety of areas. We’re proud to sponsor it again this year.”
Funds raised go toward adaptive equipment (such as voice output devices or adaptive tricycles), school or class projects (field trips, supplemental food programs), emergency funds for families and summer camp scholarships
Supporting a Great Cause
The funding enriches the educational, vocational, and social opportunities for children with disabilities. Funds raised go toward adaptive equipment (such as voice output devices or adaptive tricycles), school or class projects (field trips, supplemental food programs), emergency funds for families and summer camp scholarships, to name a few.
Many runners and walkers partner with special needs runners, walkers and wheelchair participants to experience a “race” – many for the first time.
