Lake Villa, IL, September 12, 2007 : ID Label, Inc., a leader in the manufacturing of printed stock and custom label products, has announced the addition of a new 13 inch Mark Andy 2200 4 color press. In addition, a water based Ink Jet System is mounted on this press which provides variable imaging across the entire web.  This system provides image quality and reliability to print large volumes of barcodes, sequential numbers, expiration dates, variable logos/bitmaps and other variable data on paper and many films.

ID Label chose the cutting edge water based inkjet because it offers reliable, high speed printing options. The system prints at speeds of up to 350 feet per minute giving press speed for short run and long run variable image printing. Also, this system can provide a print width of up to 12.75”, enabling printing across the entire web. It does all this while still offering resolutions of up to 240 dpi to give labels outstanding print quality.
